Qantas Offers Free Wine Tastings

With more than 250 different wines served on their flights around the world, Qantas actually is the world’s third-largest buyer of Australian wines. Now, travelers can get a taste (or two, or three) of the continent's best wine: Yes, no matter your seat number, you can ask for a wine tasting in a Qantas galley, courtesy of one of the 200 flight attendants trained as sommeliers. And all you have to do is walk up and ask.

Though Qantas is one of CNTravelers readers' favorite airlines, it isn't the only one with a stellar wine program: Emirates, Singapore Airlines, and American Airlines are all favorites of sommeliers thanks to impressive and diverse wine selections.
